Advice

How should I store my Flexipan molds and mats?

For your baking mats

Don’t fold your mat; store it flat or rolled up. Don’t put anything on top of a rolled mat, as this may damage it.

Your molds

Don’t bend your mold, make sure to store it flat. Don’t put any heavy objects on top of a mold, as this may damage it.

Why do we say products can be used up to 3,000 times?

When we say our products can be used about 3,000 times, we’re talking about a number of cycles to keep your Flexipan® products in good condition for as long as possible. 3,000 uses is equal to 30 years of use if you use your products twice a week.

Example of a typical cycle

1. Baking for one hour at 355°F (in the middle of the oven, not too close to the heating elements) or freezing at 0°F for four hours.
2. Wash with water + dish soap (pH of around 8) using a soft, non-abrasive sponge, best to avoid using the dishwasher.
3. Drying
4. Store the mold once it has dried.
5. Have a low-fat recipe.
6. Rinse with water before and after each use.
