Tips and tricks for using the Silpat 6 Hole Large Round Mold

  • Wash before first use.
  • Wash using a soft sponge and hot, soapy water. Shake to remove water and air dry.
  • Place the mold on a perforated baking tray before filling.
  • Temperature range:-40°F to + 464°F.
  • Do not grease the mold.
  • Do not bend the mold. Store the mold flat.
  • Do not use knives, scrapers, brushes, or cutters on the mold.
  • Do not place in direct contact with a heat source (grill, burner, flame, oven heating element, barbecue).
  • Do not use a cut or torn mold.

Silpat 6 Hole Large Round Mold

Non-stick as stated and so easy to clean. I made egg casserole and mini quiches with this. I also used it to keep my ingredients apart as I made Vietnamese soft spring rolls or sushi. Since it is soft and flexible, you'll need to put it on a baking sheet or something similar – not a huge deal as you'd have to do the same for similar products from a different brand.
